There are torches lit along the walls, but even the brightest of them cannot light all of the dark corners of the dungeons. Many of the walls are stained with the dampness of the dungeons and as you walk along the corridor, you notice that many of the rooms are unoccupied by anything aside from unused classroom furniture and very fermented potions ingredients. A few more well-lit rooms contain the Potions classrooms and storage rooms.

![[ ]](http://s1.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Bas étage The Base Floor is basically the basement of the Beauxbatons Castle. It's extravagantly decorated with 13th Century art, large comfy chairs, and thick carpeting. There is also a special enchantment that plays classical music all day. Sadly, this room is completely OFF-LIMITS to students. It is reserved for ghosts, professors, guests, and Madam Maxime. If you were called in here, you either did something wonderful, or you're in DEEP trouble...

They are not labeled, the only sign that hangs says: 'Solve the riddle and find the right way.' After reading that, a paper will appear in your hand with a riddle: 'The first floor is next to the third. The fourth is next to the first and the second is next to the third.' Solve the riddle, or just take a guess, to find your destination.
